The Summer Up To now
Here's the news that is the news.
Well after school ended summer was pretty nice, didn't have to get up early in the morning, mom worked at home 3 days a week, and for most of July I just hung with my friends.
The first week of July I went swimming every day in the afternoon, it was great. I want to join the swim team
The second week of July Granny took me to her friend Vivienne's cottage for the week, the best part of that was going tubing. Granny was so great to take Evan and I.
Let's see the movies I saw during the summer are Pirates of the Caribbean, twice, Spy Kids 3D, Finding Nemo and Seabiscuit. My favorite was Finding Nemo.
Fast forwrard to August... Whoosh time goes by fast.
The long weekend in August we went to Gary and Brian's... always a fun time there.
I spent a few days with Dad the week of the black out, I celebrated the black out under the stars up at dad's, we played Marco Polo late into the night. That was cool!
That weekend I went with Mom to get some birthday supplies, had a party on the 16th (yeah a week early) just to make sure everyone was available.
Mom and I ran around like crazy, nothing was open the previous Friday, (black out) so we had to do EVERYTHING on the day of.
It was so hot we decided to have the party at Grannie's, even though the air conditioner was off, it was still cooler in her basement. Only problem is that she went away for the weekend, we all thought we had a key, and none of us did....Mom had a bright idea...ended up getting in through the window in the kitchen,,, ( Don't tell David.) BTW we all have keys now.
Well I had a great party. Jessika, her little sister Nicole, Evan, and Eric were there, everyone stayed overnight except for Eric.
We ate some hamburgers, and pop, watched the Lizzie Mcguire Movie over and over and over. didn't get to sleep till past 2 AM.
Evan stayed over the following Sunday to Monday. Sunday night I got a new Kitty . Ashes...He's soooooo cute!!!
Jessika and Nicole came over the first three days of the week.
Monday Mom took me to change my roller blades that I'd gotten for my birthday for a bigger size.
Grannie was going to get a puppy.
We went to Mom's friend Cathy's house for lunch. That was fun.
Tuesday we watched Chicago a million times ( got the DVD for my B-day too I love that movie!!) and went swimming in the afternoon.
Wednesday was a repeat of Tuesday.
Thursday Julie was off work and we all Julie Mom, Jessika and Nicole went to Wasaga beach, that was amazing we swam way way out, didn't get home till 8:30 that night.
Friday....last Friday till school.....
Mom got a web cam for her birthday, and we've been yacking with Grampa on line that is too cool.
Grannie has a new puppy called Kasey. He is sooo cute... mom's trying to teach him how to sing!!
Back to school I have the coolest teacher Mr. Marshall. So for it's going great. I told him I had to go to Dave Matthews Band concert on Wednesday night and he let me off the hook for homework that night...
So went to DMB with mom...All I can say is Wow. For the full story go to Mom's journal!
http://www.livejournal.com/users/blownaway36/11235.html#cutid1So yesterday Mary and I were riding back from the park, she took a wipe our on her bike an couldn't straighten her arm, I took her to my place and she called her mom, we ended up at the hospital from 12 noon to 5:30. Turns out she has cracked her arm in 3 places and has to have a cast on for 4-6 weeks. I went to the hospital for support and to help translate for Mary's mom.
So today I have promised to help Mom clean the house. Just doing my hair then gonna get to it.
I will write tomorrow.
